  1. Slade Alive is one of the finest single record live albums, ever! This album much like Ten Years After's, Undead and Cheap Trick's Budakan captures the artist on the up and coming. As one of the liner notes on this album states this record stayed in the UK charts for over a year and a half - pretty impressive.
  2. Slade Alive! is Slade's first live album, released by Polydor on 24 March and produced by Chas Chandler. It reached No. 2 in the UK and remained on the chart for 58 weeks. It was Slade's first album to enter the UK charts and also the first to enter the Billboard .
